A Noise Within: the Groundbreaking Ceremony

This morning, our friends at A Noise Within held the groundbreaking ceremony for their new building!  Several members of our team joined a big crowd of supporters and lovers of the classical theatre-focused company on the site of their future home at Foothill and Madre in Pasadena.

A Noise Within has had incredible success raising a majority of the funds they’ll need to create their dream space, where they’ll offer the classics in a rotating, repertory style.

Following a lively and hilarious introduction by their company of excellent actors, the founders, Julia Rodriguez-Elliott and Geoff Elliott, thanked everyone who has helped A Noise Within to begin their transition from Glendale to Pasadena.  Several others, including the Mayor of Pasadena, Bill Bogaard, voiced their appreciation of the Elliotts’ vision and hard work.

Help out this fantastic company by getting them closer to their goal for the project!  Learn more or donate at their campaign website, or call their Development Department at (818) 265-7959.

Congratulations to our future neighbors, and welcome!  We, and all of Pasadena’s theatre lovers, have a lot to look forward to from A Noise Within!

  1. Not only is ANW doubling its theatre seating capacity to 300, it also expands its student outreach efforts that already have graced more than 10,000 local students.

  2. That is fantastic as Pasadena has no program like that for area students. They are really going to be quite a boon for the city and theatre community.
